The Soroptimist Club of South Lake Tahoe and Soroptimist Club of Tahoe Sierra joined together in gathering books to donate to young Camp Fire victims.
Club members donated dozens of books which were sent to the Colusa County Farm Bureau who held a children's book drive to benefit elementary schools and families in the Paradise area.
The Camp Fire in Butte County is the deadliest and most destructive fire in California history. Tens of thousands of people remain displaced after the November 8, 2018 fire destroyed 153,336 acres, 18,804 buildings and killed 86 civilians.
