The South Tahoe High trophy case just got a bit fuller.
South Tahoe High's cheerleaders brought home four trophies from the Rail City Spirit Invitational on Saturday, February 14. They won first in Large Varsity Show Cheer, first in Varsity Group Stunt (for their team #2) and second for JV Show Cheer. The Varsity girls also won the trophy for best all-around by earning the most points during the competition.
The Dance Team made their first trip to a competition and took second place for Open Dance.
It was a full day of cheering and dancing for the girls from South Lake Tahoe. It started with a trip to Sparks, NV at 7 a.m., a full morning of routines, the awards ceremony and rushing back to cheer on the Varsity Boys basketball team.
