The following report is from reports at 7:30 a.m. Wind will be an issue at some resorts today so call ahead or follow the links provided to check on current conditions.

Weather - South Lake Tahoe will have a high today of 48 and a low tonight of 29. Today: Rain, mainly after 10am. High near 48. Windy, with a southwest wind 25 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Tonight: Rain and snow, becoming all snow after 10pm. Low around 29. Windy, with a southwest wind 25 to 30 mph decreasing to 15 to 20 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.

Heavenly - Groomed. No New Snow in last 24 hours. 100% of their terrain planned to be open - 4800 acres, 17 of 28 lifts and 97 runs are open. Base depth is 83". Lift status. A 50 percent chance of snow after 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43. Strong and damaging winds, with a southwest wind 55 to 60 mph, with gusts as high as 95 mph. Message from Heavenly-The GONDOLA, Tamarack, Big Easy, Dipper, Comet, Olympic, Galaxy, Northbowl, Mott , and Sky chairs will be starting on WIND HOLD this morning. We are currently assessing all lift operations, please stay tuned for updates. We do expect more lifts to be placed on wind hold due to the 80+mph winds we are currently experiencing on the mountain.NWS Forecast - A 50% chance of snow after 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43. Strong and damaging winds, with a SW wind 50-55 mph, increasing to 55-60mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 95mph. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than an inch possible. Currently temperatures are ranging 32°-47° around the mountain.

Sierra-at-Tahoe - Groomed. No new snow. They plan to have 12 lifts open with groomed conditions on 34 of their open 45 runs. Six snow parks are open. Base depth is 48" to 98". Lift status. A slight chance of rain before 10am, then snow. High near 48. Windy, with a south southwest wind 26 to 32 mph, with gusts as high as 48 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Kirkwood - Groomed. No new snow. 54% of the mountain terrain is open with 2300 acres, 6 of 15 lifts and 44 of 86 runs. 83" base. Lift status.M– A slight chance of rain before 10am, then snow. Temperature rising to near 46 by 10am, then falling to around 33 during the remainder of the day. Windy, with a south southwest wind 26 to 32 mph, with gusts as high as 48 mph.
