Douglas County Sheriff’s Protective Association endorses Judge Johnson for Tahoe Justice of the Peace

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. - The Douglas County Sheriff’s Protective Association (DCSPA) has issued an endorsement for the current Tahoe Justice of the Peace Judge Michael Johnson to retain that position.

DCSPA President Justin Fricke made the announcement on February 25.

“I am honored to receive DCSPA’s endorsement,” responded Johnson. “These Douglas County deputies and sergeants are vital participants in the judicial system and have been in a position to observe and evaluate my performance as judge, so I accept this endorsement as an affirmation of my judicial service, past and future.”

DCSPA, representing more than 100 sworn deputies and sergeants of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, is also a member of the Public Safety Alliance which consists of nearly 100 law enforcement organizations and nearly 10,000 officers throughout Nevada.

DCSPA also endorsed attorney Laurie Trotter for election to the other Douglas County justice court position, the office of East Fork Township Justice of the Peace.
