El Dorado County COVID-19: Two new cases in El Dorado Hills; 16 recoveries

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. - The El Dorado County Department of Health and Human Services is reporting two new positive cases of COVID-19 in the area, both in El Dorado Hills. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 32.

The County is also reporting confirmed cases now on their daily report. There have been 16 residents who have recovered from COVID-19, to date.

According to the report, 1,125 tests have been made on residents, with 1,093 of them negative or still outstanding.

South Lake Tahoe has 9 confirmed cases of the virus.

There have been no reported deaths in El Dorado County

Washoe County

There are 338 active cases of COVID-19 in Washoe County (area from Incline Village to Sparks). There have been 10 deaths, 41 recoveries and 30 people are hospitalized.

Quad County (Carson City, Douglas, Lyon and Storey Counties)

On Thursday, the Quad County region reported four new positive cases and one recovery. On Friday, an additional two people were diagnosed.

This brings the total number of cases to 27, with 9 recoveries, 18 cases remain active.

The new cases are:

A female Lyon County resident in her 20’s
A female Carson City resident in her 40’s
A male Lyon County resident in his 30’s
A male Carson City resident in his 70’s
A male Carson City resident in his 30’s
A female Douglas County resident in her 30’s

Carson City - 14 total, 10 active
Douglas County - 9 total, 5 active
Lyon County - 4 total, 3 active
Storey County - 0

Alpine County

There are no new reported cases. The total residents testing positive remains at two.

Placer County

Placer County, which includes Olympic Valley, Kings Beach and Tahoe City has 123 confirmed cases. Four of those patients have died.

Nevada County

Nevada County is reporting 34 cases of COVID-19 with the bulk of those in the Truckee area.

To date, there are 21,081 cases of COVID-19 in California with 583 deaths. In the US, 18.586 of those who tested positive have died. There are just under 500,000 cases.
