Tahoe Rim Trail fundaiser: Boot Scootin' Bash at the Lake

Event Date:
June 1, 2019 - 5:30pm

On National Trails Day, join the Tahoe Rim Trail Association (TRTA) at their Boot Scootin Beach Bash in South Lake Tahoe on June 1 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

They’re fixin’ to have a good time celebrating trails on the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe with a BBQ, contra dance (don’t worry, no experience necessary), laughs, and live music ’til the cows come home – (in Tahoe the cows come home at 9:00 p.m.).

Cut a rug at Tahoe’s historic 4H camp located just off Highway 50 east of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Stateline, NV. The hoopla starts at 5:30 p.m. Music and contra dance provided by the Sierra Sweethearts.

All proceeds from the event will help the TRTA implement another incredible trail season preserving trails and inspiring stewardship.

Tickets for adults are $25 ($30 at the door), children ages 6-12 $18 and children ages 0-5 are free. There are under 300 tickets available so they are expected to go quickly. For more information and to buy tickets, visit https://tahoerimtrail.org/bash/. There are lodging packages available at BaseCamp Hotel at Stateline.

Gather your kin, put on your western wear, grab your Stetson, and meet them at the beach!
