During Saturday's Carson Valley Days parade, the Douglas County Community Services Foundation will be showcasing a 1967 classic Ford Mustang which they will be raffling off this fall. The car will be the Grand Prize for the Foundation’s 2nd Annual Classic Car Raffle fundraiser to be held on October 17, 2015. Only 100 tickets will be sold for this fun and unique raffle hosted by the Community Services Foundation.
The raffle will be conducted in reverse where tickets are drawn out and eliminated from the drawing. The last ticket remaining wins the prize. Further adding to the fundraising and entertainment of the event, are opportunities to buy your ticket back into the raffle.
Along with the $200 purchase price of the raffle ticket comes a complementary evening filled with food, beverage, and entertainment for the ticket holder and a guest. The 100 tickets to be sold for the event will sell out quickly, so if you’re interested in purchasing a ticket please contact the Douglas County Community Services Foundation at (775)782-9829 (Liz Baumgartner) or stop by the Administrative Offices at the new Community and Senior Center, 1329 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville, NV, 89410.
The Foundation has announced that they have partnered with Christensen Automotive to provide a limited one year or 10,000 mile drive train warranty in order to provide the highest confidence level in the Foundation’s grand prize.
