South Lake Tahoe Library reopens with reduced hours

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The South Lake Tahoe Library has reopened. On Thursday, June 25, the library opened its doors to the public for the first time since March closures due to the coronavirus.

They have temporarily reduced hours and implemented new protocols to keep staff and the public safe.

Hours:

Monday - 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday/Wednesday - 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Thursday - Saturday - 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Closed Sunday/Monday

Curbside pickup will be available every day between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Call or email the library for a curbside appointment.

The library has taken steps to keep both our staff and patrons healthy. There are plastic guards at the front desk and touchless hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the library. Patrons are restricted to one person or household per table. Public computers are physically distanced. Both staff and patrons are required to wear a face covering.

Meeting rooms are not available for use at this time.
