4th Annual Tahoe South Restaurant Week Sept. 16-23

The Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority will continue supporting Tahoe South Restaurant Week in an effort to connect visitors and locals with the South Shore culinary scene, Sept. 16-23, 2016. In partnership with Tahoe Chamber and the newly formed Restaurant Industry Group, Restaurant Week will align efforts with Sample the Sierra, the popular farm-to-fork festival.

All South Shore restaurants are encouraged to participate in this promotion by showcasing a fixed menu or item to tie-in with the farm-to-fork theme. Whether a locally-sourced product or an item paired with a local brew, wine, or spirit, this is the perfect opportunity to feature the very best food and beverages in the Tahoe region.

Marketing support will include print, television, and radio ads, a custom insert, and social media. As in previous years, there is no cost to restaurants to participate, however, restaurants are asked to register by July 25 to be featured in all promotional materials. In addition, restaurants are being recruited for the 7th annual Sample the Sierra, Saturday, Sept. 17, at Bijou Park to highlight food, wine, beer and spirits. More information is available at samplethesierra.com (www.samplethesierra.com).
