October 26, 2013 - 8:00pm
Head spinning Halloween costume get-ups will be mashed into a giant four-ring party at one price, Saturday Oct. 26 during the 35th Annual Freaker's Ball at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa with $10,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs.
The bawdiest, boldest, weirdest costume soiree at Lake Tahoe has become legendary in the region thanks to imaginative costumed partygoers who take mind-bending gaudiness to the limit then go back for seconds. Zany attire spans from astronaut balancing on the moon, Rock ’em Sock ’em Robots, headless horseman, un-canny impersonation of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Madonna, legendary superheroes, Ninja Turtles, Adam’s Family, KISS and even the Grateful Dead complete with moving life-like skeletons to accompany the dead-head.
Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the week of party. Contact Ticketfly.com or the MontBleu Box Office, 888-829-7630.
For more than 30 years South Tahoe has welcomed the largest Halloween costume party in the region, spread over four MontBleu venues — Opal, Blu, the Convention Center and the Haunted Zone Party Pit. Partygoers can pay one price of admission to get in on the lunacy that drives this freaky gathering of costumed misfits until the sun comes up.
Even with more than 2,500 party-goers expected, the event sells out fast. For VIP Table and Bottle Service call: (775) 586-2000.
