Blue Angels return to the Minden-Tahoe Aviation Roundup this weekend

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. - The Blue Angels return to the sky over Northern Nevada once again during the Minden-Tahoe Airport’s Aviation Roundup taking place on Oct. 1 and 2.

Six of the US Navy F-18 Super Blue Hornets who make up the Blue Angels have been seen practicing in the area.

The aviation roundup is a premier airshow produced by Douglas County and hosted at the Minden-Tahoe Airport in Minden, Nevada. The airshow is a bi-annual event and features excellent airshow performers and military jet demonstration teams.

There will be industry and local vendors, and multiple entertainers in the sky including Bill Stein, The Chuters, Greg Koontz and the Alabama Boys, Kirby Chambliss, Matt Younkin, a mini=jet show, and a fire-fighting airplane demonstration.

The gates open each day at 9 a.m., and the event begins at 11 a.m. The cost is $30 for adults, $20 for youth ages 12-17, and family passes are available for $120. To buy tickets, visit HERE.

-Alcohol and coolers will NOT be permitted on the airfield. All bags are subject to check.
-Guests may bring their own chairs to the air show. No chairs will be provided.
-Animals & pets are NOT permitted on the airfield, with the exception of service animals.
