Rain and cooler temperatures on tap for South Lake Tahoe

After weeks of warm temperatures, the weather is about to change in South Lake Tahoe.

A low pressure system and cold front will provide showers with a slight chance for thunderstorms Thursday according to the National Weather Service in Reno. Showers will concentrate along the cold front which may reach south Lake Tahoe Wednesday evening.
