Tahoe Regional Young Professionals to Host October’s Mixer at the Beacon

Tahoe Regional Young Professionals will spice up October with a mixer at the famed lakefront Beacon Bar & Grill at Camp Richardson Resort, Oct. 17 from 6:30 – 9 p.m. Tantalizing “Rum Runner’s” will be available for $5 and will complement their new menu and food specials during the event.

The cost for non-members is a $5 cover, while TRYP members are free. Becoming a member costs $40 annually, effective for one year from the purchase date. Save the date: TRYP will bring the Lake Tahoe community together to raise funds for a local non-profit for the 2nd Annual Winter White Holiday party, which is Saturday, Nov. 10 at Riva Grill from 7-10 p.m. Details will be provided later, in the meantime, businesses interested in assisting with sponsorship and silent auction/raffle prizes please email TahoeTRYP@gmail.com. The group’s December mixer is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 5 at Basecamp Hotel for fondue, soups, hearty treats and brews at their recently opened pub.

Home to the original “Rum Runner,” The Beacon Bar and Grill is open year-round. Winter lunch hours (excluding holidays) are 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; weekend brunch is 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and dinner is 5 p.m. to close. Live music is Friday and Saturday nights and Snowshoe Cocktail Races take place Jan. – March, conditions permitting.
