Community asked to give final input on Regan Beach redesign

The redesign of South Lake Tahoe's Regan Beach will affect visitors and locals for generations to come, yet very few have given input during the five month public meeting and planning process.
A final design was presented at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center on October 6, 2015 and approximately 25 people attended. In July there were 50 people at a public meeting where the top three designs for the beach were presented. In June, 24 people attended. An on ine survey was offered to the public for them to weigh in this summer, and the City received 320 responses.
There is one final chance for people to give their thoughts on the plan by participating in another online survey. Designers will refine the preferred design as a result of the input received, and create a preliminary cost estimate for design, permitting and construction.
In an effort to gather additional comments, an online survey for Regan Beach Public Park has been posted at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ReganPublic3
