South Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County election results begin at 8 p.m. Tuesday

The South Lake Tahoe City Clerk’s Office, in coordination with the El Dorado County Elections Department, will be airing Election Results as they are updated by the County on the City’s Government Channel 21 beginning at 8 p.m. Tuesday. The 8 p.m. results will show the results of the absentee ballots received prior to the election.
As standard procedure, at the 8pm close of the polling places, City/County ballots from the Lake Tahoe basin will be transported down to the El Dorado County Elections Department. Results for the ballots collected from the basin are generally posted by 11pm.
The City’s homepage www.cityofslt.us will also have a link to the County’s website for viewing of the City/County results and a link to the California Secretary of State’s website for State results.
