Valhalla annual Holiday Faire this weekend

Event Date:
November 21, 2015 (All day)

The annual Valhalla Holiday Faire will be held at the Tallac Historic Site this weekend, inside the Valhalla Grand Hall. This is an annual holiday tradition for many, who head out to the hall to see local artists, craftspeople, Santa Claus, choirs and musical groups.

After the grand opening Friday night, the faire continues on Saturday, November 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. On Sunday, November 22 the hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Valhalla Grand Hall will be decorated in a festive Holiday mode. Twenty-plus local vendors and artists will be offering a varied assortment of hand-made and other special items for purchase. Santa Claus comes to visit as local school choirs and other musical groups perform Saturday and Sunday.

Raffle tickets for raffle packages of items donated by the vendors will be available as well as hot mulled wine, hot cider, water, sodas and cookies will be available for purchase.

The Tallac Historic Site is located 2 miles past the intersection of Highway 50 and Highway 89, just past Camp Richardson, on the lake side of Highway 89. Please turn right on the street with the sign “Valhalla.” If the parking lot is full, feel free to park along Hwy 89 outside entrance.

Due to the limited parking spaces at Valhalla, we encourage carpooling, bike riding and good old fashioned walking. Parking is allowed in designated spaces only. Free shuttle transportation will be available from the main Valhalla entrance during the Faire.
