Meeting in Meyers to discuss San Bernardino Class 1 Bike Path Project

There is a public meeting about the San Bernardino Class 1 Bike Path Project on Wednesday, December 5 at the Tahoe Paradise Park Club House at 1011 E. San Bernardino Avenue at 6:00 p.m.

The meeting will still be held even with the recent snowfall.

The Tahoe Engineering Unit of the County of El Dorado Community Development Services, Department of Transportation invited to public to attend a meeting for the Evaluating Alternatives Phase of the San Bernardino Class 1 Bike Path Project. The proposed path goes along San Bernardino from the Magnet School through Tahoe Paradise Park to North Upper Truckee Road in Meyers.

They have gathered and analyzed existing conditions information and developed and compared alternatives for the Project. The results of this study have been combined into a Draft Feasibility Report.

The purpose of this meeting is to present this information for public comment. IF unable to attend there are links to documents and comment cards at the end of the story.

Following this meeting, the analysis will be further refined.

The public meeting will begin with a brief informational presentation followed by a question and answer period. Attendees will have an opportunity to share opinions and concerns regarding the Project (orally and/or in writing).
