Tube Tahoe making snow, adding big air jump, trampoline and private igloos

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - One year ago Lake Tahoe was experiencing the beginning of the second snowiest winter on record, but that is far from the case for 2023. The lack of snow, though, isn't hampering operations at Tube Tahoe because of their extensive snowmaking operations.

Located in the heart of Meyers, Tube Tahoe is a seasonal inner-tubing operation on the grounds of Tahoe Paradise Golf Course. With five-500-foot tubing lanes, there is lots of fun for all ages. This year, owner Leon Abravanel has added more features - private igloos at the top of the runs, perfect for birthday or family parties, a large free-play zone, a bungee trampoline, and a big air tubing jump. More new features may be coming this winter.

Tube Tahoe is open seven days a week and during the Holiday Break (12/23/23 – 1/7/24), their gates will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. In the spirit of fairness, they’re operating on a first-come, first-serve basis with no reservations taken during that time.

Abravanel is a big supporter of the special needs community of South Lake Tahoe, offering them fun on the slopes on scheduled dates through the winter.
