November gaming revenues down in state including Lake Tahoe and Carson Valley

Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $937,471,737 for the month of November 2019. This amounts to a 3.07 percent decrease compared to November 2018, when licensees reported a gaming win of $967,117,904 according to the monthly report released today by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Casinos on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe had a "win" of $13,851,206, down 19.17 percent from November 2018. In October, the South Shore casinos had a winning month, up 14.32 percent.

The "gaming win" represents the computed income of casinos before business expenses and taxes.

Casinos in Sparks and Wendover saw the biggest gain, just over nine percent up this November, with casinos in North Las Vegas and parts of Washoe County which include the North Shore, seeing double-digit losses.

In the last 12 months, South Shore casinos have reported a win of $65,650,000 on table games, $158,582,000 on slot machines, $2,773,000 on football games and $1,523,000 on basketball games.
