Get ready for a bubblelicious extravaganza! The Bubble Lady, Rebecca Nile, will bring bubble thrills as you’ve never seen with rainbow bubbles, dancing bubbles, spaceship bubbles, people in bubbles, and so much more.
The South Lake Tahoe Library is hosting The Bubble Lady on Friday, August 2 at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center at 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd in South Lake Tahoe (down the street from the library).
Bring the whole family for this indoor performance. It will be the library's final one for the Summer Reading Challenge.

Connect for a Cause charity mixer to benefit Live Violence Free

The next Tahoe Chamber Connect for a Cause charity mixer will be raising funds for Live Violence Free on Thursday, April 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Lake Thoe AlexWorX.
The community invited to join in, have fun and support the essential services Live Violence Free provides for South Lake Tahoe. The non-profit is committed to promoting a violence-free community through education and advocacy to address domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and basic needs.
Countdown to Amgen: Chance of snow leads up to race day

The date was May 15, 2011. All eyes of the bicycle racing world were on South Lake Tahoe as our mountain resort town hosted one of the top cycling events in the world. Anticipation and excitement were evident throughout the area as plans came into place with the amazing groups of volunteers that the South Shore is known for.
