Connect for a Cause charity mixer to benefit Live Violence Free

The next Tahoe Chamber Connect for a Cause charity mixer will be raising funds for Live Violence Free on Thursday, April 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Lake Thoe AlexWorX.

The community invited to join in, have fun and support the essential services Live Violence Free provides for South Lake Tahoe. The non-profit is committed to promoting a violence-free community through education and advocacy to address domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and basic needs.

With the month of April being Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Prevention Month, this charitable organization has been very involved in raising awareness and distributing information about these issues and how individuals can help. The proceeds of this month’s Connect for a Cause Charity Mixer will help them to continue their efforts and assist victims in our community.

Event host, Lake Tahoe AleWorX, is South Lake Tahoe’s only self-pour taproom. With 25 taps of craft beer and wine matched with an artisan menu, AleWorX is the perfect location for this fun and important community event. Appetizers and specialty beers will be featured the night of the mixer along with a lively atmosphere and great company.

Early bird tickets are now available for $15 for chamber members and $25 for non-members and will increase on the day of the event.
