SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Lake Tahoe Community College invites one and all to a free closing reception for its three current art exhibits on Saturday, March 14 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Come enjoy beautiful art, free refreshments, and live music courtesy of the Reno Swing Set! The opening ceremonies were previously canceled due to snow.
SLT Library hosting free outdoor concert with Jaguar World Music

The South Lake Tahoe Library is a free outdoor concert featuring Jaguar World Music on Friday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m.
Jaguar World Music will play musical instruments from all over the world, including flutes and stringed instruments. Learn about unique Aztec and Mayan flutes while enjoying Andean music.
The library is located at 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd. Bring the whole family for this outdoor performance.
The show is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Lake Tahoe.

June 25, 2017 - 1:00pm The featured tellers at this year’s event are Willy Claflin, world music percussion band The Batamba Collective, Mother Lode Storytelling Guild tellers Linda Kennedy and Joan McCammon, and chautauquan Larry Lippmann as “Hank Monk”. The weekend also features early afternoon shows specifically for families and children, an open mic storytelling concert and a storytelling group Carson Valley Memories led by Nancy Raven.

June 27, 2015 - 12:00pm The 3rd Annual Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel Outdoor Arena on Saturday, June 27. The concert is open to all ages and will feature Iration, Matisyahu, Don Carlos, The Green, The Expendables, Fortunate Youth, Vokab Kompany, Squarefield Massiv and more.
Advanced general admission tickets for the reggae festival are $45, VIP tickets are $90; and kids 12 and under are only $10, and kids under 6 are FREE. All tickets can be purchased on line.
