The two-day Governing Board meeting taking place on November 14 at the Chateau in Incline, and November 15 at Harvey’s Lake Tahoe will focus on taking public comment on the final draft Regional Plan Update documents presented in October. The Governing Board is scheduled to take action on the Regional Plan Update at their December 12 meeting taking place at Harvey’s Lake Tahoe in Stateline.

All Regional Plan Update final documents will be available on the TRPA website beginning October 24. TRPA staff will also have USB thumb drives available for purchase at the October Governing Board meetings that contain these documents for a cost of $15 each. Payments should be made in cash.

“The October 24 and 25 rollout of the updated regional plan is the culmination of the best available science coupled with eight years of public input starting with the Pathway Forum and the place-based planning process,” said TRPA Executive Director, Joanne S. Marchetta. “TRPA would like to thank the thousands of citizens who took the time to let their vision of a sustainable future for the Lake Tahoe Basin be known,” she said. “We are now poised to deliver that vision.”
