Processed marijuana stolen during El Dorado County home invasion robbery

11/24/15 update: The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office arrested both Ross and Stone on warrants issued by El Dorado County. When contacted, both Ross and Stone were armed with loaded firearms. They were taken into custody without incident and some of the stolen property from the Greenwood robbery was recovered. Ross and Stone were booked into the Sacramento County Jail on weapons and drug charges. They were also booked on warrants from El Dorado County. They are both in custody at the Sacramento County Jail in lieu of $350,000 bail. Both Ross and Stone will be arraigned in Sacramento County before being transferred to El Dorado County for additional court proceedings.

El Dorado County Sheriff's deputies responding to a report of a home invasion robbery in Greenwood at 11:27 a.m. on November 19 arrived to find multiple victims bound with zip-ties and duct tape.

The victims said they were bound at gunpoint before the thieves made away with a large quantity of processed marijuana along with other miscellaneous items. The home is located in the 4000 block of Edgewater Drive in Greenwood which is located four miles from Georgetown.

Two suspects have been positively identified as 21-year-old Jeremy Ross and 21-year-old Deshawn Stone. Ross and Stone fled the area in a white or silver smaller SUV and are considered armed and dangerous.

Felony warrants have been issued for both men. Any information on their whereabouts should be forwarded to local law enforcement immediately. This is an ongoing investigation and more information will be released when it becomes available.
