Kelly Keagy and Night Ranger looking forward to playing at Hard Rock Lake Tahoe

It was a blast from the past today as I spoke with Night Ranger's drummer Kelly Keagy. We covered everything from playing discos in my hometown of Fremont, CA in the 70s to playing in large arenas with the likes of Kiss and ZZTop, to playing at the Hard Rock Casino Lake Tahoe this weekend.

Keagy is one of the founding members of the band Night Ranger. He and buddies Jack Blades and Brad Gillis formed the band in 1979, and the three are still performing around the world as well as recording albums today.

Opinion: Tahoe Paradise Park meetings now orderly and focused

Gone was the yelling between board members. Gone was the yelling from the residents in the crowd. Gone was the uncomfortable feeling I had watching a Tahoe Paradise Resort Improvement District (TPRID) board meeting. Gone were the bullies. Gone were the mistruths.

Present was teamwork, respect, order, transparency and a general commitment to make the park a viable one that families, residents and visitors could enjoy.

It is an experience.

I am a member of the "over 50" crowd so the music featured at SnowGlobe is not something I know much about so I went into SnowGlobe to see what it's all about.
