Vikings fall short of a playoff appearance

It was a close game for over three quarters in the gym at South Tahoe High on Saturday, but the visiting Fallon Greenwave prevailed in the end and beat the Vikings 60-44.
South Tahoe needed a win to continue their season in next week's playoffs.
The Division 1A playoffs will start on Thursday in Fallon at Churchill County High School.
The Lady Vikings had a different outcome in their game against Fallon. The girls won by a score of 49-41.
Senior Ally King led all scorers with 18 points. Junior Dru Chapman followed with 13 of her own. The rest of the South Tahoe points were scored by Bailey Barcellos (4), Annie Buchser (4), Catherine Baghdikian (4), Valeria Garcia (4) and Zoe Mosedale (2).
They ended the season in fifth place, out of playoff contention.
